a guy shows me all signs of liking me in person including mirroring, locking eyes, brushing past, glancing, looking back at me/ being around me all the time. we never talked but know each other since childhood. i’m a singer and once he was humming around me a lot too. I replied to his story twice on insta and he left me on read both times. this time i said “good luck” for one of his tournaments. why is he leaving me on read? should i continue liking him

When you take interest in someone and decide to pursue them, one thing you have to keep in mind is that just because you’re available and/or you’re ready to date, doesn’t mean the person is as well. He could be too busy, dating someone else, exploring his options, or just isn’t currently interested in prioritizing a woman. So it’s not to say that you’re imagining all the flirtation, for some people that just comes naturally to them. He just may not be trying to dive into that with you, and his actions relay that.
