Why does my guy friend intentionally avoid introducing me to his wife? sometimes he avoids looking at me in front of her? ?

we're really good friends, and for some reason, he avoids looking at me completely whenever she's around and sometimes pretends he hasn't seen me. What's going on there? there is NOTHING going on between us.

Basically because his fantasy is you , so he doesn't want to admit to himself that you ( and the wife ) are both there in one location.
