Guy's Behavior

Guys, Is it true if a man likes you (no matter how shy he is) he will find a way to tell you?

I have a crush on a guy and I know now that he had a crush on me but we haven’t seen each other for a month already after the last interaction and he hasn’t contacted me at all (anywhere). We aren’t friends and not direct coworkers. We work in the same building and the last time we met we had a very awkward interaction. We were alone in the elevator and he asked how’s the job and then started being all loud, then I responded sth quietly and looked up at him and there were his eyes as if they were much closer to me than usual, it felt as if we stared at each other for a long time and then I looked back and got really sad (I felt like I’m not worthy of him) and we stayed quietly for a while. He almost missed his floor and when leaving said “have a good day”. I don’t understand a guy… It’s always that awkward with him and now I’m away for a month and he’s silent… Maybe I just made the whole feelings up and being delusional…
