I would guess that it’s because you broke up. And you wanting to go and visit him so soon after the break up will be hurtful for him. Maybe he doesn’t want you to visit at all and he’s just happy to remain online/long-distance friends?
It's been 10 months since we broke up and we've gotten back to bein really close friends, talking every day, etc. I don't understand like why have me just as a long distance friend? Should i just go no contact?
I can’t say his exact reason for his behaviour. If you want to go no-contact then that’s your decision to make. Do you really want to visit him that badly?
