How to know if a guy is just acting friendly or he actually likes you?

If you know me… if I’m going to give a high five… I’m going to do the right way ! Not weakly, but strongly haha… so a guy which is pretty good friends with me always likes to give me high fives every now and then. Well, yesterday, he came up to me and asked for one laughingly (he knows how I am)… so I did! But I hurt myself lol…I have to say- my hand was stinging & bright red! Jokingly, I accused him of hurting me and then he preceded to make me laugh by massaging my hand and “worrying” over me… sooooo was he being flirty or just friendly? I sometimes get mixed signals. Sorry for the weird story… just confused here haha!

Not just the story is weird but the entire "adult" attitude of both of you. This is something that perhaps teenagers aged 13-15 would do but adults should be beyond such childish behavior.

Since you seem to be such an outgoing person, why don't you ask him directly if he likes you. The fact that you "play" with him leads me to believe that you have a crush (pardon my expression) on that guy.

If you want something to happen, then you need to take the initiative otherwise, I don't think he will do it himself. You are more the extrovert while he is rather the introvert in this relationship.

In this kind of situation I have learnt that non verbal communication is key. There are some subtle sign that he wants you not just purely as a friend. That said for me personally if a guy wants more he will tell me under no uncertain terms that's what he wants. If he doesn't say anything even if he'd like more he wants that boundary for reasons only he knows.

It's safe to Assume every Guy who is acting Friendly towards you actually likes you, Us Guys are not going act Friendly towards a Girl unless we find you Attractive.

Odviously most of the the time we will be Polite to most People, But if we act more Friendly than other People we usually like you.

This is one of my go to tests to see how a guy may feel about me. If he wants to sweet talk but goes silent or has excuses if I ask for a small favour then I know he only wants a physical relationship or a relationship that serves his interests only.

You will think he really cares and do something you wouldn't normally do then you wonder why he disappears or gets c8 fused and doesn't know what he wants when you want something more after he has had sex with you. I really hope he isn't loke that but, even regular fairly decent. guys do this. They call it post-nut clarity.

This is why i ain't reacting cos its so random im not buying it l, and im so pickyhe didn't even mention the trip i had won on the first night.
