I mean I see them showing off of how righteous they are. But the fact is they are not. They do all kinds of bad things like stealing cheating etc. why they act so right?

We as a species are despicable.
It's not based on gender.
People cheat, steal, abuse, rape, murder.
There are few that live completely without negativity and gender has nothing to do with it.
Most only do the lesser of the "evils".
And again few do the really bad stuff.
None of us are "saints".
We suck.
I personally just try my best to not harm anyone through my actions.
But I'm human, I have stolen once, I have used violence (mild to defend myself), I have lied.
But I've never cheated on a partner, I've never abused anyone, murdered, raped or done anything bad to anyone else.
Humans are a disease on this planet, probably because we have the most developed brain and thus can think of more ways to fuck it up.

I stole a pack of Fruit Stripe bubble gum from the store when I was 5. I got caught and I was paraded around the store with the manager getting lectured with my parents in tow. My mom laughed and said I was a hardened criminal before I even enrolled in elementary school.
