I recently started Tinder again and messaged this guy that used to be in my theater class in HS. I thought he was cute when I was 17-18 but I was always the “ugly” friend, and I also found out he had a crush on my then-friend. So I just knew not to ask out a popular, yet nerdy Star-Wars fan. I started losing weight and looking better, so much that my old classmates didn’t recognize me. I started dressing not embarrassingly and dyed my hair normal, wore it down a lot more, not being emo.
So yeah I matched with this guy, and he looked… okay. I was happy to reconnect with him because he was always so nice to me, and like I said, I liked him.
WELL after I matched, we swapped Snapchats and got to talking. I realized we didn’t have anything in common, and he asked to hangout.
