Said his friends a re bunch of fuxking weirdos, coworkers are dicks and his daughter fails him all the time

After this he proceeds to ignore me and my messages for 1 day

And we had to meet today, this morning he sents me a message saying he has huge diarrhea and we better meet tomorrow because he feels horrible

Proceeds to not talk to my today again

So how am i supposed to take that?

First of all, let's get one thing straight, if his daughter fails him all the time, HE, not his daughter, but HE failed as being a good father. Children are a pure reflection of their parents, so his daughter is a 100% reflection of all the effort and time and things he taught and showed to her, not the other way around.

Secondly, what is normal? Even though there is a universal normal, these day 2023 and beyond normal unfortunately took a different meaning in many different ways. So please, let a failed father define what is a word normal means to him.

Sounds like he's under a lot of stress and needs a bit to himself, likely genuinely having a health issue combined with stress so it all got a bit much for him. Give him some space, be there for him when he needs and it should be fine.
