My wife and I split a lot of the caregiving for our son. I did most bathing, bedtime, bottle feeding if he wasn't breastfeeding, quite a bit of the diaper changing, I took him to clinic appointments, once he was on solid food I prepared most of that food, and I did most daycare drop offs and pickups.

Don't know. It's probably a personal issue for the guy you're dealing with, in particular.

I try to avoid generalizations... but for every deadbeat dad I am willing to bet their are 50 Dads who live up to their obligations.

But ladies choose wisely who you procreate with. Women have a responsibility too.
