He was in love with me since 2012. I never saw him that way. We kept in touch. He had a lot of girlfriends but never managed to keep the relationships. Everyone said it's because of me. We talked all these years and eventually I caught feelings for him but learned that he has someone. I stopped talking to him, met someone and married. My marriage didn't last as my husband was abusive. He also got married the same month I got divorced. Now he contacted me asking if I'm okay. And he talked to me like we used to al night. For a couple days. this wS exactly how we chatted before, so I realized that there was nothing there at all before too. he was over me already when I caught feelings for him. That'd why he was able to talk to me platonically even after having a girlfriend. he's very happy from what I can tell from his socials. She's amazing. he is too. She probably knows he is talking to me. but she has me blocked. I don't know why I don't even know her. he also had me blocked before he contacted me.
We talked about things we used to. jokes and all. We used to get along extremely well and could talk about anything. now I realize that if he's able to talk to me the same way, this is just the way he always is. That means they're very secure in their relationship in order to be in contact with past crushes?
I feel like I got some sort of closure because I always wondered what if I told him I loved him even after knowing he was dating his wife. now I feel like he didn't feel anything for me then.
