Well he knew what you looked like before you guys went on the date, right? I doubt he would have went on the date to begin with if he thought you were unnatrivce.

Perhaps you unknowingly did something to put him off? And sometimes you just tell right away when you don't click with someone. Or maybe he was just looking for sex and figured out he wasn't get it on the first date. Who really knows. Some dates just don't work out.

Either way, ghosting is cowardly so it sounds like you dodged a bullet.

He did give me closure after being quite angry with my attempts and expressing my hurt…

It was a short but intense talking stage and so he kind of gave me an ultimatum… we meet or stop talking… things did feel genuine

I was the one trying to self sabotage and push him away bc I didn’t want to get hurt and I wasn’t confident… I only wanted to be a placeholder no sex until he became exclusive with someone else.

But he knew that… never pushed for sex…. etc

But I did mention waiting until marriage for sex … I didn’t mean to say that

But in his closure he said he didn’t want to invest his time if we weren’t going to eventually have sex. He has other priorities to worry about and his job is stressful ect… we can check in here and there and he hopes I find a man who loves me the way I need to be loved.
