He’s found me on all social media, writes about me, writes to me and adds me on dating sites and Facebook, talking about love and marriage, drives by, showed up in person a lot and showed up on my bus home from work. I said to go away last year (he’s been chasing me for over 2 years); and he said I was being mean to him and he wasn’t going to listen. I’ve given him no encouragement, except to have social media and use dating sites; and to have been in love with him many years ago; and told him so, years ago, which he didn’t believe or want to hear.

Man, this guy sounds like a total creep! I don't get why he's stalking you like that after you've told him to leave you alone already. Nobody should have to deal with that unwanted attention.

It might be a good idea to tell some friends what's going on so they can look out for you too. And maybe think about warning the police - they can give him a talking to and it'll be on record if he keeps bothering you. You should also block him on everything and don't use your real name online for now.

I know it's annoying to have to change stuff because of this dude harassing you, but your safety is the most important thing. He needs to get the message that his behavior is not okay. If he keeps it up after all that, you could try getting a restraining order. You don't deserve to feel scared! Just hang in there and don't be alone if you can help it for now. I hope he finally backs off.

I think what you’re describing is a stalker. You can’t reason with those types of people.
