Guys, what's causing you to suddenly react to your crush messages slowly?

There is this guy that i met through mutual friends. He admitted that he is having a crush on me. Lately these past few days he became slow to reply and give excuses like he always had some other things to do. This happened after we had a serious conversation so maybe he wasn’t happy with my answer (not sure though). He used to reply right away but these days i feel he is withdrawn slowly from me and keep sending & posting sad quotes. What cause him to suddenly change this way?
Ps: he is a loyal guy and i do wanna win him back.

If you do wanna win him back - communicate!! Open up, be transparent and do it all over a phone call or in person! Stop sending texts back and forth cause in all honesty, generally guys hate texting too long and to much! Show him that you are sad about his withdrawal and want to be with him!

maybe that hurt his feelings - did you reject him? As you say you want him back

Well now you got a choice lay all your cards on the table or walk away. Either one is fine. Women who play games and jerk guys around are a dime a dozen. If he's learned you're one of these women you might be done. Since we don't know what all was said we can't determine this. I will say this if it's a coin toss it's always just best for him to move onto another woman. One who shows she wants to be with him from the beginning.
