Is it a bad sign if my boyfriend’s friends are all referring to me as his wife?

If they are calling you his wife it's probably a way of saying you act like a married couple now. It's hard to tell but it's either a compliment or an insult depending on how they say it. Honestly I would have to hear to tell you one way or another.

When they call his phone they will say “so what are you and the wife up to”. Or what do you and the wife have planned. The crazy thing is we see each other 3 to 4 times a week, text moderately and talk on the phone. We don’t do anything crazy that is out of the normal. I don’t try to restrict his activities at all. I tell him to have fun and don’t bother him when he is with the guys

It's a joke on him it sounds like not a shot at you. Guys love to pick on each other and honestly when caught texting or calling a girlfriend you become the target. Almost every guy goes through this.

This is actually somewhat common. They are jokingly calling you his wife because either it's a close relationship or long term relationship. Or it might not mean either of those, and just mean you are his girlfriend.

How? I mean I’m not restrictive at all on what he does. I just wasn’t sure if they meant it in a good or bad way. I try to leave him be when he is out with the guys so I’m not blowing up his phone for no reason. I tell him to have a good night and let him reach out in the morning
