He lost interest in me and we left the situation. Few months later I met him today at the movies. From my perspective 2 guys sat next to me and one guy made another guy choose another seat. That’s when I saw him. Our eyes met and I ignored. He asked his friend to leave the seat as it wasn’t theirs.
Now we both are left with one vacant seat btwn us. I ignored. Fast forward post interval his friend sat besides me again and he made his friend choose another seat leaving us sitting next to each other.
I didn’t look at him and I assume he didn’t look at me as well. But I did notice him always trying to come behind me be it on queue or after movie. Purposely staying behind.
And then he saw me again but ignored so did I. But it is kicking my anxiety.

Yo that's mad awkward running into your ex like that! Hard to say for sure what his deal was, guys can be weird. Couple thoughts:
-Maybe he was just as shook to see you and didn't wanna make it weird, so ignoring each other was the move.
-Could be he still has feelings and didn't wanna face them. Easier to play it cool from a distance.
-Or he might've been tryna make you jealous hovering around like that. Guys can be petty lol.
Either way dude shoulda just left you alone to enjoy the movie in peace! Don't stress too much trying to read into it.
If I was you I'd just forget about him and not give him the satisfaction of knowing he's still in your head. Have fun with your friends instead of dwelling on some fool.
Pretty sure he was just as weirded out seeing you, so probably no need to worry it was personal. Just bad timing running into an ex like that. You dodged an awkward convo for sure!
It's immaturity.
