What would make you think a guy is NOT a simp at all?

people on here throw that label at dudes often... so what would make you think a guy isn't a simp? is it simply not being respectful to women it all? or is it being respectful but not allowing women to have a free pass if any disrespect you? i think i know the answer but i think some dudes on here are confused... maybe im wrong

When he isn't desperate for my attention and doesn't do nice things that I never deserved. I'm not talking guys who hold the door for me (bless you all). But the guy who rolls out a red carpet for me as if I'm a goddess and I didn't even look his way. That kind of desperate kindness is what I see as simping. Men who... men who don't respect themselves enough to actually find someone who is deserving of that treatment. Stop putting someone on a pedestal who wouldn't even look your way.
