Does my male cousin desire me?

I’m 18 years old, my cousin is 27 and lives in Germany. He comes to visit in the summer.

° When we go out late at night with my three male cousins, he never leaves my side. He says, “If someone looks at you, tell me.” When my other two cousins walk ahead, he walks next to me. If I slow down, he slows down; if I speed up, he speeds up.

° One time, when my cousin and I went out in the evening to have a drink together, a guy at the next table was giving me a disturbing look. I got scared, and my cousin noticed it. He kept looking at the guy with an angry expression.

° One night, we were with a big group, trying to fit into a car. He was about to sit in the front seat and said to me, “Sit on my lap.”

° He once tried to smell my hair, thinking I wouldn’t notice. When I rested my head on a pillow while he was sitting next to me, I suddenly realized he was playing with my hair.

° When all the relatives from abroad came, he was sitting next to me and asked, “When’s the wedding?” I just laughed.

° While I was arguing with my ex-boyfriend over text, I noticed from the side that he was trying to read my messages. Then he took my phone and texted my ex, “Who are you?” I told him, “He might misunderstand,” but he just said, “So what?”

° One evening, they came over for dinner with the whole family. I didn’t want to eat, so I quietly got up from the table and went to the bathroom to look in the mirror. I overheard him in the kitchen asking my mom why I wasn’t eating.

° When we said goodbye, he lifted me up in his arms, hugged me, and when he put me down, he said, “You’re so light,” and laughed. Then I noticed he didn’t do this to anyone else.

I’m being very serious — all of this actually happened!
