Ok I've heard this about myself unfortunately so here we go, thing is Im shy, genuinly shy, which is something I've struggled with all my life and wish I never was, when it revolves some situations, people.

Now, I have heard that when I am trying to mask my shyness to a guy Im into I come off as you describe. I have been told this later on in the relationship.

The only thing that could help a guy Im into is if he looks for sign of red cheeks, and if I manage to come off it, a smile. I do have a sense of humor and so if the girl you are into have that it can help break the ice if you joke or if the both of you see something that's funny.

Again, not proud of this, not defending it in any way. Had the few guys I've been involved with not recongized the difference between shy coming out as, pardon the expression, cold b..., and me actually melting there would be no story to tell, I have to give them thanks, including my partner, for hanging in there. My shyness goes away after a while, it's not there 4 ever, I don't know what it's like for other shy people, but it should work when they get more comfortable with someone.

Not really, women mostly would be warm but shy to the man they interested to. And cold if they are bot interested.

Just bc we're attracted to a guy doesn't mean that he necessarily deserves to be part of our lives (or that he is suitable for us), so it's good to find some excuse to put distance between you quickly.

Other times it's a "shit test" right before you choose whether or not you'll allow the guy to pursue. If he passes the ONE shit test to earn the gal's trust then he's good with her. But constantly doing that to a guy makes him run.

Last but not least are the gals who take time to warm up to ANYONE in general, so they seem a bit "cold" but they're not, they're just private/introverted.

Women are very complicated creatures. You can never tell were you stand with women. Seems like women like to play emotional games and I can tell you that do at 36.
