Why do guys joke about being in "love" or "marrying you"?

When guys joke like this with you like repetitively do they mean it or are they just flirting? My male roommate and guys friends say stuff like this like, "why don't you marry me already?", "wanna just get married?", or like after joking around they say they love me, "You know I love you, right?"

But I don't ever take it seriously because it's always in like a jokey manner and they say it like all the time so it's lost any kind of "real" potency.

Anyway, just wondering why guys would do that.

love like that would probably just be like

how family loves each other, you say

they say it after joking around, that kind

of "I love you" could be taken as a "no offense"

or "no hard feelings" ^-^

but this is assuming that you

are "one of the guys"

if he doesn't make a clearer move than that, it

probably doesn't mean more than that

Sounds like there just playing , but don't gereralize all guys , I honestly do want to fall in love and get married just hope girl understand that not all guys are the same

bcs a lot of guys like talking Sh*t. go to a pickup basketball game, or sit in on a xbox/playstation session and you'll know what I mean.
