I like this guy, but I hate the way he talks. Turn off??

so I like this guy. we were friends before. But then he started feeling more than just friendship and since he was a nice guy, I thought to give it a try. But I hate the way he speaks. I mean, he is not English, he is from india, so he has a terrible accent when he speaks english.

We had sex once and it`s just awful. The way he speaks just doesn't turn me on. its in one word awful and he has kind of a high voice when he comes, too high for a man. I wanted to run!

His brothers, who are also indian, have nice manly voices and their english is great. but I don't know, it disturbs me when he speaks to. I think I will break up with him because this is not working.

he is a nice guy but I'm not the right girl for him. he adores me but the feeling is not mutual. I don't want to hurt him, but I have to. keeping him as a friend would be better and more honest for the both of us.

i just want to know, am I being racist here or is it just the way HE speaks? I had other boyfriends before of other nationalities, but with this one, I don't know, the way he speaks irritates me so much. what is your opinion? I am the kind of girl that likes to talk during sex, but with his accent its like; shut up!

Yes you should dump him. Here's why; If his voice and the way he speaks as well as his inability are all causes for you to now want to stay together with him than he's not the one for you. He deserves someone that can look past those little details and work with him on it.

So find a different guy. I don't see a big dilemma here. You don't say what made sex terrible, only that you don't like his voice. It sounds like you are kinda superficial, but you are entitled to like what you like, so find a guy with a nice voice.

i think voice is rather important, because its the gate to communication and though/feeling-sharing

Yes, I am afraid I do. His voice is an insignificant part of his entire makeup. I don't mean to offend you, you have every right to be who you are. The sexual thing, you can easily teach him what makes your bells ring so all we are left with is his voice. Dumping him for is voice is being superficial. Why not appreciate the way he thinks, how he responds to occurances, how he views you and the world. Those are much more important than his voice.

I don't think she should say she's breaking him up with him just because of his voice. That's just harsh and will make him self-conscious about it for the rest of his life.
