My ex is telling me how he hates his life?

My ex had a few drinks in him and texted me at 2am asking was I awake and I said I was.
He said he wanted a cuddle that’s when I said I wanted a nice guy (my ex treats me like crap by the way)

so basically it turns into him saying how he hates his life he wants to hang him self all this negative talk.

All over him not having a girlfriend and being on his own. And how he meets someone nice and the same thing happens over and over.

Despite how I felt and my feeling towards him I gave him my best advise which I told him to be patient and love will come naturally.

I said despite if he hates me or not I gave him the nicest advise which I didn’t have to as I said he treats me so bad in his reply he told me he doesn’t hate me we just went out separate ways.

He just made it clear tonight that he only uses me talk to when he’s bored and used me because if you were interested in your ex you wouldn’t be saying that stuff to them.

So I’m kinda a bit hurt but I’m used to it he hurts me non stop but I always wanna come out the best person
