Do sweet guys treat girls like this?

There's this guy that I'm really good friends with. Well I have a really big crush on him and I use to think that he liked me too because he would slowly be more touchy feely with me. Well it's been about 7 months of our friends- with- benefits type relationship (no sex, or even kissing, just touching really. He'll stick his hands up my shirt, down my pants. We've been on a couple "dates" nothing official, just hanging out type thing)

Well, he's a really friendly person in generally and I'm starting to think maybe he doesn't like me in a romantic, because I don't know if he's doing this with other people. I mean he literally asked one of my other girlfriends to go to a premiere with him in front of me. And then I sarcastically said, "Oh it's ok, I didn't want to go anyways" So he said, "Well, it's a horror movie and I didn't think you'd want to go." Well, this friend of mine I'm pretty sure likes him too so I don't know what to think. Is he doing what he's doing with me with other girls. I mean we're nothing official so I can't really get mad at him or anything, but the reason I let him go so far with me was because I trusted him and I thought he liked me.

The thing is, he's really a sweet guy. Everyone calls him "a parents dream" because he's so respectful. He's an overall sweet guy, not a jerk at all. So my question is for the sweet guys, would you "fool around" with a girl friend just because she let you?

I mean some of the things he has said makes me think he would. He's said, "I mean, if a girl is offering it, what's a guy to do?" But other things that has happened make me think that he actually likes me. Like this one time I called him back and our conversation went like this:

Him: "Hello"

Me: "Hi, it's me."

Him: "So...What's up"

Me: "...Well, you called me, I'm just calling you back."

Him: "Right, well...Um...Do you want to go out with me?

Me: "...Um, ok...When?" (I said that because I wasn't sure if he meant hang out with him, or actually go out with him. On the inside I was jumping for joy though)

Him: Oh, no, I mean, um...Well the thing is...I'm a virgin...And well... (at this point I hear him start to laugh.)

That's when I realize it's not him at all, just his friend pranking me. So I start to laugh to, even though my heart is sinking. Well then the real guy actually got on the phone and said:

Real Him: "Sorry about that, he just likes to screw up any chance I have with a girl."

Me: (laughing) "That's ok!"

Then our conversation just continued.

So does this guy actually like me, or does he just trying to get as far as possible with me as he can? Remember he's a really sweet guy, so do sweet guys ever do this type of things to girls they're friends with?

Erm... I guess I would be considered a "sweet" guy. At least I think so lol.

Anyways, no I wouldn't feel up a girl just because I could. I don't even think I would want a friends with benefits relationship.

And usually friends with benefits relationships are just about sex, and no emotion. So you're wondering into a dangerous place. You could really get hurt, because he is probably just using you. There is no real attraction besides physical in a friends with benefits situation. It just doesn't workout that way.

I don't think that a real genuine sweet guy would ever stick his hand up your shirt or down your pants. He may just be a wolf in sheep's clothing and is just using you. A lot of guys will put up a facade just to use you, and pretend to be something that they're not. But for every guy that does that, there are that many more who won't.
