Do girls like comforting & taking care of guys?

I was hanging out with this girl on the weekend and we were relaxing in my room laying in bed. I was on the floor, she was on the bed. She couldn't help but notice that something was bothering me. Eventually she asked me enough times to get me to tell her. I told her and she immediately reacted, hugging me, saying its ok. Then she sat up and got me to rest my head on her lap. I felt really bad because she wasn't gonna be able to relax or sleep. When I told her that she didn't have to do this and that I wanted her to be comfortable too she held me tightly against her. Eventually she let me up and laid down with me.

I just really felt bad about her being uncomfortable.

Was I wrong? She didn't say anything but would that hurt her?

I know I always want to make someone feel better, even more if it's someone I really care about. I think one of the things many girls expect out of a relationship is to have someone to talk to about stuff that bothers you. And it's often somewhat one-sided, since, in my experience, guys are a lot less inclined to talk about what's bothering them. If she didn't want to sit in a position where she couldn't relax or sleep, she wouldn't have been. But don't worry too much - my guess would be that she was happy to make you feel better, and wasn't bothered too much by your insistence that she lay down.

If I like a guy,I let it be known that I want to, in a sense "take care of him" , comfort him, help him when he's sick, and plus we (or at least me) like when guys open up about their feelings/problems, in other words "their life". That said. She probably DOES like you.

IMO, I like to try and make people feel better when they are upset about something, but it sounds like this girl might like you.

You were not wrong, and no it didn't hurt her. Girl well for me anyways like to take care of are men when there down, she just wanted to make sure you were ok, so let her comfort you.
