i want to gain maybe 5 pounds.. and not from muscle exactly.. i am going to be working out to and doing toning exercises which will turn the fat into muscle.. but i still need to gain a few pounds! should i eat like 2500? or more? i think i have a fast metabolism too!
Fat and muscle aren't related. One doesn't turn into the other. Not how it works.
If you want gain weight then start by weighing yourself in the morning one day and track everything you eat for one week. If by the next week your weight is the same just add anywhere between 300-500 calories of food extra per day. Then repeat until you reach your desired weight gain speed.
