Girls liftng weights, how can I get defined toned arms?

Well what I did once that worked for me was I would use 5 lb weights and I looked up different types of arm workouts on the internet and I would do them every day even on days that I wouldn't do cardio and I started seeing results and by results I mean toned looking arms. Try that. I read somewhere that if you just want TONED arms you should use small weights because you're just trying to tone them not bulk them up or anything.

Toning= Smaller Weight Reps and More Repetitions
If you want to get bigger you would lift heavier weights for 8-10 reps
If I were you if at 30-40lbs and 12-15 reps is all you can do go back down to 20 and do at least 30 reps and you should do it just about everyday even the days you do cardio..
