Asker+1 yPlay the piano and you'll be able to crush a young boys skull. Weight lifting really doesn't do much for finger strength.
Asker+1 yPut your paper away and practice the piano for 2 hours and you'll think otherwise.

All of the above. I mix it up because I constantly want to improve all aspects of my fitness. Aerobic and aerobic. Endurance and power. It's also good to diversify workouts because it stops you from getting bored of the same exercise. Your body is less prone to plateauing if you mix it up too.

I love going to yoga and Pilates classes, but I used to run a ton outside and hope to get back into it since the weather is getting nice again. I also do some home workouts using YouTube videos and a yoga mat, and I've done insanity, which was a kick in the butt, but awesome.

Asker+1 yI've heard the term thrown around a lot but I honestly have no idea what pilates is.
Asker+1 yI see, I guess it wraps everything up in one bundle. I like to run, because I like to do marathons/half marathons for some crazy reason. When the weather is nice I like to mountain bike in the woods. I lift weight for strength and do do calisthenic & plyometric exercises for novelty things like 100 pushups in a row and vertical jump height.
I run and lift weights, but sometimes I just go rock climbing :)

Asker+1 yRock climbing is real fun.

+1 yweight and cardio do it good for me!
00 Reply I have been swimming for some time now but only in the last couple of months, I started the ellipticle and stair master. Oh boy !! What a deadly combination!! But my idea is not to look & walk like incredible hulk. I just want to look athletic and no fat buldges here and there.
00 ReplySwimming. When I get into my zone, there's no stopping me. I can swim forever and it's just me and the water. It's very peaceful for me.
I like to lift weights too, but it's not very zen. I absolutely hate running.14 Reply
Asker+1 yDo you swim in a pool or the ocean?
Asker+1 yOh OK. I just read " I can swim forever and it's just me and the water." and thought big body of water. lol
Anonymous(36-45)+1 ySwimming and biking are the best. I don't really swim since I don't have a pool, but I bike. Running is too damaging on the joints long term. Weight lifting isn't cardio. I mean, I do a little bit of strength training to maintain muscle mass, but I'm not into weight lifting.
So biking takes the cake of swimming for sheer convenience.10 ReplyI really enjoy swimming, but I don't get the chance to swim that often. Out of all of these I go running the most often, but I don't necessarily enjoy it. Biking is my second favorite to swimming. Besides this list, I love dancing (and twirling)!
Asker+1 yTwirling? Is that when you spin in an office chair until you blow chunks or are you talking about Poi fire dancing?
- +1 y
Hahahaha, neither! It's like dancing, except you have one or more batons that you are doing tricks with while dancing. You can toss the batons up a specific way, roll them over your elbows, waist, leg, back, etc., and do more cool stuff with them. It takes a lot of practice to be good!
Asker+1 yuhhuh... I see.
Weight lifting. I like feeling strong, while not looking like a bodybuilder.

weight lifting 100% for me. I love it. I'll do cardio every morning and it's ok.. (better when i do it outside rather than on a machine)
but my hearts in the weights.
squats and deadlifts specifically. they're my favourite.10 Replywell the best way to burn calories is sex , but that one didn't seem to make your list so my next choice would be swimming
04 Reply
Asker+1 yIt's fun, but in no way are you going to burn calories as fast as say a light jog of 5.5 mph. The jogging will burn 2-3 times as many calories as fucking. I doubt you could slam that ass for a few hours straight without busting a nut of chaffing your cock even if you took an entire bottle of Viagra.
Asker+1 ySure pal. We don't need to have a pissing contest, my dick is bigger.
I just like to run, really. I should probably change things up, but I really don't want to stop running.

Asker+1 ySo run backwards!

"When you're younger you can eat what you like, drink what you like, and still climb into your 26" waist trousers and zip them closed. Then you reach that age, 24-25, your muscles give up, they wave a little white flag, and without any warning at all you're suddenly a fat bastard." - Rimmer, Red Dwarf 0304
Asker+1 ylol Not me, but some people in my family... My Dad, two brothers, grandfather, etc. where ectomorphs that could eat whatever they wanted drink beer and whatever and were always lean. Then they faced reality when they hit 30. I'm a mesomorph and gain muscle or fat easily and tend to drop fat easily as well. Things stayed the same for me when I hit 30.
+1 yDefinitely weight lifting :) Curls for the girls ;)
