Depends what you mean by working out. I do my more, chilled, 'old man' tai chi to counterbalance the more yang strenuous stuff. So I'm doing exercise every day for at least 45 mins. I vary it. I'd say I'm doing 2 days about 15 mins intensive stuff, 2 days doing stuff for like an hour and a half, maybe a group activity such as tennis, another day doing more weight related stuff, then two days, doing my old man rehabilitative stuff. But in reality, it's all being mixed together. If my body is achey, I'll do more inward focused stuff, preserve my energy, and allow my body to heal.

I go 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.
And no, I don't imagine you'd get fat from just sitting at the computer lol. If you eat bad things and never do exercise, that's a different story. Also, if the women in your family get "hefty" as they get older, then you're also subject to that.
But if you don't get fat from non-activity alone. Other things tie into the non-activity that cause weight gain.
6-7 times a week. I don't hit the gym. I do cross country running, which includes core workouts, and I work out my arms at home. Don't worry about getting fat, worry about getting healthy and enjoying life, then the motivation will come easier. Just make exercising a habit, just like brushing your teeth. Find something you really enjoy and stick with it. Find other people who enjoy it and motivate each other to stay active. Your body is capable of anything, it's your mind holding you back. Best of luck!
i walk/run on my treadmill Monday to friday.. i do that early in the morning and sometimes at night while watching my fave television series and eating popcorn. me and my treadmill are like best friends. i don't go to the gym. i do other exercises at home but i'm no consistent. :)

If you only work out to avoid being fat, it's such terrible motivation.
I go 4-5 per week, sometimes less if I'm busy.
If you actually force yourself to go workout for a while consistently, you'll get hooked and you would start enjoying it. You'll start hating missing a workout
and no, you can't get fat this fast hahahaI need an average of 3 a week. I'm one of these people who need to train a lot to have a little bit of muscle. My physiology is more the one of a marathon man, rather skinny.
I would say 2 workouts per week is about the minimum if you want to benefit from it!I hang out with friends outside for long periods of time and I we walk around. It's minimum activity but I've been losing weight from it so you don't really have to do intense workouts a couple times a week if you do small things everyday
Every other day aka 3-4 times per week for about 30 minutes per day.
Listening to some pumped-up and exciting music keeps me in the mood. And imagining how I might look in the future from doing this also keeps me motivated.I shoot for three days of lifting and three days of activity (long walk, tennis, basketball etc.).
In reality I get in one day of lifting and get my walking in by parking at the back of parking lots. :(I try and go to the gym twice but sometimes only once a week happens. I personally think your diet will cause you to get fat more than exercising but both do matter. It depends on your diet :)
I lift weights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are my running days.
Sometimes twice or not at all. I don't think you will get fat from not working out often unless you eat a lot of junk food while sitting at your desk.
Diet is a bigger part of the equation than exercise. How would rate what u eat and drink in terms of healthiness?
Well I have 3 workout days in a week in my plan, but I sometimes do random workouts so about 3-4 times a week.
3 times a week currently whike Im on vacation. Will be 5 times when I get back to school in just over a week
I don't exercise at all. I just walk a lot and strangely enough, it keeps me in shape.
About 3 days, I haven't gotten back in a route of 5 days yet.

Started almost a year ago.
I workout every other day, and never the same body part.
