Is birth control messing up my diet?

so ever since I got back from school in the middle of may I've been trying this diet I found in fitness magazine. Its not much of a diet its mostly about being healthy. its 1500 calories a day 300 for breakfast, 400 for lunch, 500 for dinner, with two 150 calorie snacks. Also I've been working out at least 3 to 4 times a week doing work out videos or going to the gym burning 300 to 500 calories each time.

I haven't seen results and its been 2 months! I've been trying to figure out what's wrong and the only thing that comes to mind is birth control. I've been on Tri-Sprintec low dose for about a year and a half now, not for anything in particular just to use it as birth control. its been fine but I've stayed the same weight on it pretty much the whole time. Also I have really mild acne and it used to always clear it up but I feel like its not helping me anymore in that respect.

If anyone has any tips or knows anything let me know!
