So from the ages of 6-13 or so I loved amusement park and carnival rides, the exception being anything that went upside down. But slowly but surely between 11-13 my tolerance slowly decreased. I use to ride roller coasters and all sorts of rides but I started getting more and more nauseous. For a while being in the car for a mere twenty minutes made me nauseous and then after time i would only get nauseous after long car rides. I recently went to six flags and had to give myself a lot of motion sickness medicine and while it helped a little I still can't handle nearly as much as I use to. My heart rate also increases and I get frightful during this mini anxiety attack wondering if I'll survive a ride that I once rode 5 times in a row. Can anyone tell me of this is normal or strange? What happened? Has anyone else dealt with this?
