Why is it when I plank I feel my back is going to snap?

maybe you're exhausting yourself and need to rest or need to build strength again somewhere else on your body. when I was doing incline sit ups my lower back was hurting like shit! didn't know why but I gave it a good 2 weeks rest and worked on my lower back muscles during the time and now im going super incline with no problems.

You have a bend in your back? Your body's supposed to be in a straight line. Your back muscles have gotten weak. I heard if you can hold a plank for over a minute, you should go to a harder version.
Like just curves inwards more so my butt looks like I'm sticking it out, i do not do these obviously! on purpose!
But i feel okay doing what i do just my back is bad cause it curves in so much

Your abdominal and core muscles are likely too weak and your lower back drops becouse of that.
Who goes for 4 minutes anyways lol?
