I am so proud of you hittin the gym :D anyways there are recovery supplements on the market like glutamine and such but I would honestly recommend just letting your muscles recover naturally because the next time it won't hit you so hard and the next time after that it won't hit you so hard. but also stretching helps too, release that lactic acid in your muscles, go to a spa and relax. get a massage :)
It was brutal lol. My brother thought I could bench more than I said so I attempted it and made a loud noise like weight lifters do thinking I could make it happen lol It didn't happen and honestly It probably sounded like I was taking a huge poo lmao. Anyways - thank you. I was definitely thinking about Bikram Yoga tonight to release the lactic acid. I am just sore to the point I'd rather go to bed and sleep through it. :p
hahaa snapchat that to me the next time you do it LOL. and just stretch before you sleep it will help and should put you in a more relaxed state and chances of you cramping up during sleep should go down too.

Do you take any protein supplements? Getting some hydrolyzed whey protein right after workout helps A LOT. If you want to speed up recovery even further take some nitro on the rest day.
I do a protein shake after the gym but thats about it. Usually have a night session so I don't drink much water within the next 10 hrs because I am asleep... I am definitely looking into some nitro though - amino acids are in that yes?
Nope. Nitro nearly dialtes fine veins and allows for blood to better flow through muscles making delivery of amino acids and flowing lactate out speedier. As for amino acids. If you take high qualtiy shake containing good amout of hydrolyzed whey protein they are useless since there's already plenty of free amino acids in hydrolyzed whey protein to be readily absorbed.

Yeah, keep it up with the gym! Respect.
As for the energy recovery, try some isotonic drinks. You'll feel "fit" very fast after drinking them. They fill up salts etc. instantly as the concentration of those is similar to the one in your blood. Confusing sentence, but to lazy to rethink it :).
As for the tired muscles, there's little you can do now. Try some stretching & light exercises. However preventing it is far easier. After your workout don't sit down immediately. Go for "active recovery". That means walk around a bit, move your arms, torso etc. And then stretch a bit.
I will definitely look into this - Payday is Friday so I need to pay Complete Nutrition a visit.

No it's not. Just the first time in a couple weeks I worked my arms - shoulders - chest... So it hit me hard

Just time this is a normal feeling don't worry about it especially if you don't do a lot of upper body workouts it will take longer for your muscles to recover.
