I think I may have a serious problem with my bladder, but the doctors don't seem bothered?

Basically, when I was a little girl I had a particularly lovely teacher. She used to limit all of the water we had at lunchtime and breaktime so that we didn't need the toilet during class.

As a result, when I was little I ended up being in the habit of never drinking and I started suffering with bladder infections.

After I left and was home over holidays and stuff, my dad learnt the truth of why I didn't drink very much (I'm talking about 2-3 cups a day) and he used to set me tasks of drinking a bottle of water before I was allowed dinner.

As I've got older, I've got better at making sure I drink more. But even now, I drink the amount I should and I'm still battling urine infections off. I've now had 10, and I'm 22.

I've been to the doctors before (because some of them get so bad that I pass blood) and I've said how much I drink, but they don't seem at all bothered. The amount I drink I'm beginning to wonder if I have a serious problem, like maybe my uretha is shorter than average or something, but the doctors don't really seem bothered. I don't know what to do? I've just had nova virus, I drank about 14 glasses (obviously didn't keep all of that) but I've been battling off another bladder infection for the past week and a half. A day of dehydration shouldn't inflict a bladder infection unless there was a big problem, should it?
