I have to go to work this year in a school. It starts at 8 in the morning. I have to leave the house at 7, to take public transport. I have to get up at 6.30. It's one day per week and not every week. Should I form a sleeping schedule? I don't have a standard sleeping schedule. I usually sleep at 2-3 o'clock after midnight, sometimes later and I get up at 9-10 o'clock in the morning or later, depends on what I have to do. I'm not a morning person, so when I wake up I'm in a really bad mood, I feel weak and groggy. The problem is that I have to be there at 8, I have to look presentable and I have to be awake, polite, engaging and generally functioning. Any advice?

What to do to stop feeling awful or at least to feel a bit better when I wake up?
Go to bed at 10pm.
Leave the blinds open, at least a bit.
When the sun rises, light will naturally wake you up.
Set a nice soothing alert on your phone to wake you up. You will probably snooze this. Have another, upbeat alert set for 10 mins later.
Have a shower as soon as you get up, this will waken and freshen you up for the day.
