My suspicion is you won't maintain that rate, because there's an initial kick of weight loss as you shift from having an intenstinal system full of garbage to one that isn't.
If your calorie intake is -way- below eating, metabolic impacts may start catching up with you, which isn't an insurmountable issue to panic about, it just may happen.
Focus on eating right and exercising, and you will be on the path to where you want to be. Exactly how fast isn't entirely under your control.

holy shit no. losing weight in a healthy manner is considered 1-2 lbs a week. it gives your body the proper time to adjust and adapt all along the way. but people are different, maybe you have crazy genetics and an ultra violet burning metabolism. by the way its easier to lose weight when you're "unhealthy" or overweight, when you get closer to your goal its gonna be hard. that's when people tend to hit a plateau or teeter totter. stay true to your cause!
You need to speak to you G. P of you plan to lose a large amount of weight. Your body needs a certain amount of calorie intake a day and drastically cutting down when your body isused to a vertain amount is very dangerous and it won't help you lose weight, it will just mess your body up. You need to design a food plan and make sure you are having the rigjt amount of calories and the right types of food to allow your body to lose weight in a healthy way.
