This pain under my chest?

Tonight after dinner i felt this pain when i took my bra off. Only when i breath in and out, laying sideways and if i touch it. I feel this sharp pain. Now this is only my left side not my right. However I should be getting my period soon my boobs feel enourmesly bigger that's normal. The bra felt fine before when i wore it i've had it for a month or two. So any ideas?

I'm giving it like till tonight if i can really handle going to bed. I just don't know if it is the OBGYN or my regular doctor to see?

People are often diagnosed with what doctors call "General Chest Wall Pain".

It's very common in men, but affects a lower percentage of women too. It is a sudden sharp pain in the upper chest. Probably about where the base of the breast is. It is usually short-lasting for a few minutes or even just a single sharp pain when inhaling, turning to a particular side, or lying down on your side, or trying to sit up from a lying position.

Doctors don't actually know what causes it, but it is usually harmless. To put it in the words of my doctor, "it may hurt for a few minutes, but it's nothing that will kill you".

You (and I) may just be the unlucky ones that experience it.

it could be, growing pains, the bra might not have been very comfortable in that particular region or maybe its just your ribs trying to gro which pretty much goes into growing pains. i'm such an idiot. Oh! right yeah anyway it could be any of those options.

if all else fails see a doctor or something like that. you'll be fine i have faith.

Well, i am male whose had the same problems i believe
it can be due to gas, anxiety , I've had this for years after
eating the doctors have no clue to what causes it.

Yes, true >< , Call in , and ask if he is available anytime, as quick as possible ( Just saying , just in-case its something bad, HOPE NOT) And they should tell you... If not, all you can do is wait.. or the hospital, But i dont think its that bad, and it would cost too much.

I'm feeling much better. It was just really bad indigeston from the dinner i had last night. Really rich food i ate so that probably was the reason for the tight pain under my left breast.

Any shortness of breath, fatigue, unusual sweating for you? Is the pain radiating anywhere else?

i do tend to sweat in my sleep, i was tired this evening. yet this all started after dinner. i had slight cramps earlier but i was perfectly fine since now. it's bit red along the bottom.

Well its good that you dont have any shortness of breath or fatigue. I would probably go to a normal doctor and not the OBGYN. Chest pain isn't really something to fuck around with.

Well if its hard to breathe in and feels tight, it could be. but if you think it may just be your boobs you could be right. In a day if it gets worse, get medical attention. If it stays the same and you can bear it, give it another day. If it goes away it may be minor. But for the best advice see a doctor at any time

you're not allergic to eggs? Flu shot only protects you from a strain of the flu, its still possible you could have gotten something else

if the pain is close to the skin its probably growth, if its deep its something else
