I don't believe in losing wait by eating less calories. I eat a lot myself every day, and have always been 'underweight' (I've never had any health problems so I don't care about being underweight by some tests). I never count calories. If you want to lose weight, don't count calories. There are less frustrating ways.
- Go running (instead of jogging) twice a week (I run every 3 days). I switch between a long run (about 10 km) at a steady pace on even surface, and a more interval-based run (2x2 km at steady pace, some sprints in soft sand and through water, sprinting/climbing up hills, some walking) The first one I do in the park on running shoes, and the second one in the forest and on the beach on bare feet. The trick to keep motivated is to mix things up so you'll never get bored.
- Eat whenever you want to eat. If you're hungry and don't eat, your body will save it's calories to stay alive and your metabolism will drop. Also, your body will need fuel and crave more for fat/sugary foods.
- Treat yourself, but not with unhealthy sweets. Good things to eat are: High fat greek yoghurt (10%), nuts (preferably unsalted), chocolate (70% cacao or more), fresh fruits (don't worry about sugar in fruits, it's healthy).
- Cut down on sodas and salt. It's better to drink a glass of wine than a coke. You can also drink a huge amount of green or white tea or a moderate amount of black tea and coffee. Drink water (I always have a jug filled with it next to me) and squeeze oranges or other fruits if you want something sweetish. (You can just buy fruit juices at the supemaket if you don't have time for this, just buy the most natural thing you can get).
- If you want to cook, think about the vegetables first since they form the most important part of your meal.
I hope it helps! Just don't count calories and don't eat chemical stuff!

Tour BMR is the bare minimum your body needs to keep your organs functioning I would consume at least 250 calories above your BMR for safety.
You shouldn't eat less than your basal, just saying.

Not sure I would eat lower than 1400. I would prefer to adjust exercise and diet.
Just stop eating sweets.
I suppose it's possible.
