I think my best friend is going to go anorexic?

so my friend has always been so jealous of me because im natrually skinny its just my jeans and she is actually really skinny too the only diffrence is she has boobs! she doesn't realize she iss skinny and she thinks guys dont like her and that she's a total fat ass. i tried everything to tell her she is not fat being legitimitley serious and she doesn't believe me. she says things like well since dan doesn't like me im just gonna fast the whole weekend. she's depressed and so insanely insecure when she is probably the prettiest girl in school, deffinitly up there. i honestly think her mom gave her these problems because her mom is a twig and has been anorexic since she was 16 and is always saying things to her like gabby are you sure you wanna eat those cookies? no joke. I don't know what else to do but i can't tag her complaining that she's fat anymore because she's not. what should i do?

There actually isn't much you can do as according to your description she thinks that she's fat because of how her mom raised. It's difficult to "punch out" the idea that was implanted by own parent (-s). You could try to convince her by trying to scare her. Like show what happens to those who becomes anorexic. Show how their bodies become like skeletons and other disturbing pics. Fear is one of the most efficient things that helps us control others. If she is afraid to get anorexic she will be afraid to try and lose weight. But remember I'm no specialist or anything so think through what I said very carefully, as I don't really want any trouble...
