Does not eating one meal cause a headache?

I are a huge meal for lunch with my family's Christmas dinner. I was so full I didn't feel hungry so I didn't eat tonight. Now I have a sharp headache. My stepmom claims it is because of me not eating. Is that even possible? I have gone a full day without food. All the sudden skipping one meal gives me a huge headache? Can someone make sense of this

No, AA, I don' t think it has anything to do with your 'Not eating.' If you are satisfied, not hungry at this moment, it could very well be with the function and just being a long Family affair, it took it's toll house cookie on you and Now----I have a sharp headache.
Take something and get some rest. I believe this is what the doctor would order. If you were so hungry, not just your head but your stomach would be growling and having hunger pangs as well...

Thank you 😃 lol, I actually found out/remembered what it is. My mom has taken forever ordering my contacts (I can't do it) and the ones I had have been in for like five weeks. I took them out afraid I would have an infection. My eyes trying to correct/compensate to not having contacts is causing the headache. Thank you for helping tho! 😊

If It's only one meal, then probably not. But restricting calories and not eating enough can cause headaches. Not eating can lower your blood sugar too which can cause headaches as well
