Does this diagnosis make any sense?
I went to doctor today for routine checkup. Blood pressure good everything good. He did blood work. Said they'll call me with results. Later on at home I look at my papers it said he diagnosed me with hyperlipemia. I didn't know what it meant. I googled it it says fat levels in blood I guess cholesterol. How could he diagnosis me with that without blood test results. I know they don't come back that quick. I kinda feel like I should go to different doctor. How would you handle this? I'm scared. Im overweight but I'm working on losing weight. I've lost 4 lbs so far.

Actually when they do blood tests they get results almost immediately. Maybe the day after but if they find something that is not an emergency they might take a long time to get back to you. they don't call back the very next day unless it's a life or death situation.

He may have diagnosed off of symptoms. It could change with the blood work. If not, it never hurts to get a 2nd opinion. Keep on working on losing weight, and good luck
