breaking habits of any kind is extremely hard to do, so first you have to really ask yourself whether you are ready for the commitment to change you're going to endure. Its hard to change and get out of your comfort zone. thats why people tend to stay within their "comfort zone", my best advice to you is to take baby steps, you don't have to cut out junk food from your diet completely cold turkey but just keep it in moderation. make it a point to try and cook your food rather than unfreeze it. (sure its more effort but you'll cut way more calories). increase your water intake, preset meal plans for your day and when you feel the urge to overeat, do something distracting like meditation ( which is scientifically proven to help with depression) workout, or go for a walk. that way you distract yourself while also getting in some exercise.

Make wiser eating decisions start eating healthier by choice. "Instead of this, I'm going to eat this instead." Find things you like the taste of like lettuce wrapped sandwiches or little things you can change as well as asking a doctor and they can give you a list or refer you further. And talk to friends, find someone to confide in that won't pressure you but listen and then give advise when you need it.
Start eating vegetable salad which contains broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, etc instead of junk food.

Most people don't like to eat healthy food (particularly Salad)
so sooner or later their hunger threshold will decrease eventually.
I don't think you can stop it just by yourself. Human will is weak. You need ask a doctor for help. And ask you family or your bf to help you stop it.

If it's to cope with depression, it is unlikely you can stop it with merely will power. Get yourself a therapist and a nutritionist. Mindset is the first thing you need to work on in order to break the cycle.
Also, 144 is not a horrible number. Try not to feel so guilty, because that will only hurt your attempts to be a happier, healthier person.
