Why do I have bad breath?

I've been sick in the past few days but I'm getting better now. I caught the flu, sore throat, and fever. But it's all gone now. The thing is, my mouth still feels bitter and my breath smells bad. What causes this and how can I treat this? Is it dangerous? :( please help.

Oh and I've been taking meds too. But this never happened to me before so I'm worried.

use a tongue cleaner on the far end of ur tongue, remove the plague, brush b4 u sleep lol,
This ones difficult to explain and understand- while ur mouth is closed always see that the far end of ur tongue isn't sticking against something and that there Is air above it, so when u take a deep breath u can feel some that air passing from above ur far end of the tongue. this keeps some air flow their and prevents anaerobic bacteria , eat 'elaichi' or ''cardamom' 2-3 times a day after meals maybe. once u recover from ur health and start being ur self again, it should pass.

Do you ever notice or cough up a small white-tan chunk? If you do, try mushing it and taking a sniff. If it smells terrible, then it's from a tonsil stone, which could give you prolonged bad breath and can be removed by a dentist if any of it is still there.

can be caused by antibiotics if you took, but otherwise may be anything from bacteria in your mouth to stomach or problem with liver. If it persists, consult a doctor. If it is your mouth, use an antibacterial mouth cleaner for a while.

You may no longer be showing symptoms but you still have the virus in your body. It should disappear in 3-6 weeks.

It could just simply be the meds drying you out. Drink way more water than usual to flush them. Quite often we get bad breath because we don't have enough saliva to keep the mouth clean flushed. So the bad breath can come though more easily.

not talking much and keeping your mouth closed allows bacteria to grow rapidely... why sick bedden people have this issue.

It's almost midnight here and I drank 3 litre of water today :/
