Is tanning in sun bad for your eyes?

So, I have this ugly yellow-ish skin undertone (think a light-skinned Indian) and it looks much better when I get a tan (I tan very easily). I want to know if tanning in sun (with your eyes closed) is bad for your eyes, I'll have to use goggles if it is.

Tanning in General is bad for your skin. A tan is just a mini sunburn. So it's not good for your skin. But if you do a little tanning you'll be fine, just be sure to wear sunscreen of at least spf30 and UVA/UVB +++

I'm sure as long as you wear goggles, you'll be fine. But the UV rays will damage your skin and make you age faster if too much exposure.

i guess you have to wear sunglasses if you wanna go tanning in sun basically ;-)
