But I'm 6' and weigh 145 pounds. So how can I be so thin and healthy if I don't drink straight water? Because juice, soda and ginger ale are made up of mostly water. Even beer is roughly 90% water. Drinking straight water everyday is a myth spread by diet fads and moms.

Yeah true. The advanced class says, there are also many foods and fruits that have water in it.

But drinking straight water is no sin :p

@Littlett25 once again another myth spread by fads, celebrities and moms. Not all calories, carbs and sugars are bad. It's perfectly okay to drink your sugars and calories if the rest of your diet is healthy too. All in moderation.

I don't know but I usually drink minimum 1 litre of JUST water. But then I drink lots of other stuff such as milk, tea, coffee, juice, coke (sometimes on the weekends) and I eat fruits and a lot of stuff that contains water. so probably around 2-3 litres everyday maybe even more.

No, not really. I'm not going to stuff myself with water before and after school. I prefer to pace myself and drink what I can when I get a chance. When I'm free to drink as much as I like, I drink a lot. I don't care if it's "very bad" that I drink some amount you came up with.

      1 oz = 29.5 ml approx

      So 16 x 3 x 29.5 =1416 ml = 1.416 litres, less than recommended, very bad.

      2 x 1416 = 2832 ml = 2832 litres, Great.

Yes, but I'm not dehydrated. If I was, I would've known by having a headache. You also receive a lot of water from food. I just ate a paprika, which contains about 90% out of water. Drinking a lot of water (as in 2,5 liters) extra won't help you or anything. Just drink and eat normal and you'll get enough water.

      1 oz = 29.5 ml
      24 ounces = 24 x 29.5 = 708 ml, you need a little reprimand on bad maths :p.

      708 x 14 = 9912 ml = 9.912 Litre.

The water fills me up so i don't dive into the junk food like i used to do, whenever i'm bored instead of eating chips or chocolate i will drink water 😄 it keeps me hydrated and happy :)

I'll tell you what, though, because I do appreciate this but the Brita pitcher has been one of the best investments I have made for my health, thus far.

I purchased pitcher and bottles too, but even then i seem to forget it. The app reminds aswell as keep track about water intake.
Brita pitchers are great, i have its 'grand' having total 2.5 liters capacity.
