Help with bad period?

I have the implant birth control and it has done wonders for my periods. I would get so crabby, bleed a lot, feel exhausted and be in bed the whole time, have horrible cramps in my stomach and thighs, sore boobs and feel sick to my stomach. With the birth control I'm not crabby, I only spot every few months and it only lasts a few days so that's not even bad, no cramps it's just been great. Now I'm having one of the bad periods and I didn't know how to feel better before and now I feel just awful and I don't know what to do. I'm allergic to midol and stuff like that and I abused Tylenol do that doesn't help much so I would smoke weed to help with the cramps and that's not even helping me now, I feel like I'm dying. I keep getting these horrible headaches, I have no energy at all-just slept 14 hours and wanna sleep more, I'm super nauseous all the time, my boobs are so sore, my cramps are awful and my stomach feels hard as a rock, my back is hurting and I am super crabby like it all seems so much worst than it was before the birth control. I usually spot very light like to where I only see it when I wipe, I'm only spotting now but it's heavier than usual. I need some tips that will help me feel better please.

Tylenol doesn't work for me either when i have bad cramps... I usually have no symptoms no mood swings but once in a few years i have an extremely bad one. And nothing works actually...:( but regular intake of almond chocolate and green tea help soooothe cramps and pms.

When I was younger and depressed I could get Tylenol no problem so I'd take them to get a buzz and now it takes a lot to even get rid of a headache. I'll have to try those. I def get enough chocolate during this time haha that's about all I crave.

Can you call your doctor? Maybe it's time to switch the implant or something?

It lasts 3 years and it hasn't even been a year yet

Things are a little more intense but this is how my periods were before the birth control just then I bled a lot more than I am now. My tummy is so bloated like it used to get, before the birth control I'd get super bloated and then look like I've dropped 20-30 pounds in a week when it was done

You sound like you actually have a condition. There are lots of female issues which have names. Have you talked to a gyn about these symptoms? They are not normal for just a regular cycle.

I've told my dr about it and they recommended the birth control. Before the birth control this would happen every month, my mom said she always knew because it was like I was a different person. I'm very laid back and sweet and during this time I get so angry. The other day while on the phone at work this lady kept making me mad and when I hung up I said f you bitch and flipped off the phone. It's like I have no control over the anger, like now I know I did that and it was silly but when it happened it just happened I couldn't keep my anger inside. I was so close to saying it to her but knew id lose my job so I at least waited till I was off the phone

The birth control may help for a while but if you have a condition, like endometriosis, it needs to be treated. Talk to your doctor. Google it and match it to what you go through or find the correct condition. (endometriosis actually affectes 1 in 3 women)

I'm sure I have something but the endometriosis doesn't sound like what I have to me. Yeah I'm irregular now but it's from the birth control, before I was very regular every month.

Yeah. Pain like that is not normal. I didn't think I had endometriosis either till I did research and realized I had a lot of the signs. My doctor was a jerk and didn't want to do surgery but I insisted as pain was bad. He did it, found it and got rid of it and now I control by herbs and diet. Do your own research for your symptoms and don't let them docs tell you nothing is wrong when you know there is.

I've always had the pain and everything since I've gotten my period. I've had a pelvic ultrasound and it was all normal. I think some of the pain may be due to the bloating, I also get super bloated in my stomach area the whole week. I eat a ton the week before and then I don't really eat during my period. I think it's just severe pms or something like that. My body just doesn't react well during this time.

I had every test imaginable done. Endometriosis doesn't shoe up on that. Only from a diagnostic laparoscopy. I had pain from first too but if you want to believe its normal, go ahead. It can and will cause other problems later.

You may have Dysmenorrhoea. Usually hot and cold water can ease it a little, and ibuprofen. I don't know too much about it to be honest.

I think you should see a gynecologist because it's abnormal for periods to be this bad :(
