Simple when I worked with veterans is that you request to take off a few days from work and stay up for 24-48 hours and attempt to sleep at the end of that, no driving vehicle during this time. And if it works with people who have PTSD then it will work with you. Make sure when you get up the following day you set your alarm for the correct schedule you want and go sleep at an early bed time like 9 or 10pm. Repeat until perfection. Best of luck :-D

Ask your dr to give you a sleeping pill for a week to get your sleep cycle in order... Then taper off the following week and supplement with melatonin to get some sleep.

being an insomniac this is usual for me, try and get to sleep at around 11:30pm and staying up later means i won't wake up till 2/3 and then i have time to try and get back to sleep for a bit. also a hot drink and night routine help. so the doctors say
