Im 16 and i have a uti that is very painful i can't move im in tears and my parents won't take me to the ER can i go by myself? Will they help me if i bring id and my social society card?

I also dont have a ride i have my permit should i just take my moms car because she and my dad refuse to take me

Yes you can go yourself. You need to seek Emergency help right away. If you collapsed on the street , you would be taken to hospital without needing I. D or your parents permission anyway, so just go

You need to be checked out as soon as possible, if you leave it you could suffer from comlpications making it severely worse for you

Yeah you can go by yourself. Bring your ID and maybe social security card or insurance card. I know the insurance card is important if they don't already have your info in their system. You need medical treatment (antibiotics) for the UTI to go away.

I'm not sure, but I guess you are in USA. Try to seek help in any way you can. A pharmacy, school staff like a school nurse, your own doctor, wherever you can.

I think the health service in the USA is non existent, and should be changed as a matter of urgency.

Nope you are under 18 and you are considered a minor. You aren't considered an adult and only your parents/legal guardians can sign the paperwork for treatment approval.

So i have to suffer because they refuse to take me its 2 in the moring and im sitting on the toilet because it makes some of the pain go away

I know from a medical standpoint they won't treat you without your parents being able to sign off on your papers if you live in the USA. I go to school for medical stuff.

Otherwise you can always try to talk to a family friend or relative you trust to see if they can talk to your parents.

What the heck... This is really really serious. Why did they say no? Do they not have the funds to take you to the doctor? If they don't why did they have kids anyway?

You could hold this against them... I'm pretty sure there are also laws about not taking your children to the hospital
