I try to get my family to have larger vegetable servings relative to other food groups, but we still have some kind of meat every lunch and dinner. I don't think carbs are that big an issue unless you eat out a lot.
It's why so many people have to have their gall bladders removed young, so much heart disease, and so on. WAYY too much fatty meat in US diet, that's no secret.
I rarely ever eat meat, mostly because I don't like the texture, and biting into gristle or fat will make me lose my appetite. And I'm overweight, so I really can't say that the meat portions are right or wrong.
YES! Thats all I ever hear about anymore! But I dont eat it so I just ignore them.

Processed meat? Yes. Unprocessed meat is nutritious as fuck though. Too much sugar is the main problem with the American diet.
Hey now, I love my meat... But ya, we likely eat to much.
I love that all the girls said yes and most guys said no! so stereotypical haha
Our diet is horrible we need to really do something about it, me included to many cheap fast food places
No, but I think the American diet is too dependent on Monsanto.
No, it's too carb heavy.
Meat doesn't contain carbohydrate
@PropaneAccessories He's talking about the American diet... And what are you on about? Meat most certainly does contain carbs...
@notcreativethough In an average portion, straight, plain meat contains no carbohydrate.
I wasn't saying meat was carb heavy, I meant the Western diet is carb heavy.
No too many fats, guns, and general ignorance!
