There's no quick way to gain/lose weight it takes time. I have to do weight training and eat TONS of carbs because I have weight issues too because of health reasons. Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat so even if the number on the scale is changing you may not SEE the change yet. So just remember that even if it doesn't show very much you should still be proud! I'm 5'5 and I was at 92 pounds last summer and I felt so disgusting, right now I am 108 pounds! It was a hard journey and my metabolism was fighting against me all the time. I feel so much cuter now that I don't look so gangly and bony and people don't make anorexic jokes about me anymore. Sometimes people can't help losing or gaining a lot of weight when they have other health issues and people judge far too much. Lots of potatoes, rice, pasta, whole milk and dairy, a good portion of meat but not a lot. And remeber most junk food is empty calories and sugar and may bloat you superficially and once the bloating is gone you haven't even gained most of the weight you thought you had! So try to stick to whole foods and healthy fats like nuts! good luck!

Your BMI is 19, so you can use some extra weight. But focuss on getting muscle weight, not fat weight. Than you get a more healthy muscle/fat ratio and you will fitter. A good muscle/fat ratio is more important than an absolute weight.
Lift weights, gain weight in your butt. Guys love girls with big butts. Don't worry about your weight, worry about how you look.
Starchy carbs will make you pack on pounds quick ( given that you're also on a caloric surplus).

I'm the same height as you, but I'm 125 pounds. I'm trying to gain weight too. But instead, I'm losing weight :/ No matter what I eat, I can't seem to gain any weight. Try eating more healthier, and exercise:)
Maybe if you lot of healthy snack and excersie. Eat more healthy food and excersie!
I'm 5' 7" and 135 pounds and I think I'm great where I'm at so it's a good weight.
