Any suggestions on how to start sleeping earlier?

I don't have insomnia. I can fall asleep, when I decide to do so. Though, I enjoy being awake when everyone else is sleeping. The house is quiet and I can read, try on outfits, watch movies, roam the internet etc. uninterrupted. This habit of mine is damaging my life and I want to stop it. The next day I can't wake up, I don't even respond to the alarm clock or my family trying to wake me up. I'm sleep deprived, always late and anxious. Every time I say I won't stay up late, then I end up doing the same.
Any suggestions on how to start sleeping earlier?
