I've had anxiety for a really long time. Reminder that techniques don't work for everyone, but it's a good place to start :)
-Focus technique- WHen you walk into a room, look at four objects. When you feel an attack coming on again, look at the objects in the same order, and remind yourself that you are going to be okay.
-Stress balls. For me, having something to squeeze always helps. When I didn't use stress balls, I would dig my fingernails into my palms or thighs, or squeeze my nose, or pull my hair.
-Music!!! 100% recommend having a soothing playlist and earbuds readily available. Music was the one thing that totally helped my anxiety.
-Essential oils! This might sound stupid, but don't knock it til you try the magic of a diffuser with some lavender.
-Talk about it. That was something I didn't do. If I had talked about it earlier, I really don't think it would have gotten as bad as it did. As soon as I found a few people who loved me and cared about what I was going through, it made all the difference.

Ah, just like me. Social anxiety, not general anxiety. I suggest therapy but how can i help you if i can't help myself? I haven't told a yone besides my best friend, even my parents haven't figured it out. My dad even thinks i have adhd? What the hell? It is hard having social anxiety especially so young. Don't know how i will make it to highschool. But yeah maybe try to seek therapy, or get a dog i mean dogs should make you happy, and other than that please let me know any other ways to calm down xD can't even leave my house half of the time. Best of luck :/
Remember this, its horrible and comforting. Most of the time, no one give a shit about you. No one is paying that much attention to you to realize all your flaws or the stupid things you don, they're too busy worrying about them selves. Even when they do realize your flaws its fleeting, even if they comment on it sometimes. Most of the times, everyone else is just trying to make it through the day themselves. How close do you look at others and judge them... not much right, you ain't got time for that, you're focused on you. Everyone is like that, maybe not to your extent but they are like that
This may sound strange but go work out! Get up and walk run or lift weights see your body and mind need things to occupy it right now your ainxiety is making your mind race in every different direction if you get up and focus on training you give yourself something to think about plus you physically exaust yourself and itll help you sleep at night and when you notice results in physical appearence your social mentallity will change cause you'll feel better it certainly helped me with my problem

I've had both too, I understand what you're going through and I'm so sorry you are feeling this way right now. Medication would actually be very helpful in your situation. Your parents are wrong in my opinion, they have the wrong idea about it. I don't know how old you are now, but once you are of age, I think you should consider making the decision to take medication. See, what it does is it declutters your mind so you can see things clearly and actually realize the issues you really have and then you have the ability to combat them and change the way you do things. You have to believe it's going to be ok. If you can't tell yourself that, then believe me. It's going to be ok! You need to heal and get better. Ground yourself. Start there.
Do you see a counselor. Talking things out of often the best medicine. Why aren't you allowed to take medicine?
